After putting on a show on the football field this season, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter showed off their chemistry on the field.

The Colorado stars performed before a men’s basketball victory over Bellarmine on Saturday in which Sanders threw an alley-oop off the backboard to Hunter.

Both players also received custom Buffaloes basketball jerseys.

The teammates helped Colorado post a 9-3 record this season, with the school appearing in a bowl game for the first time since 2020.

The Buffaloes will face BYU in the Alamo Bowl on December 28th. Both players are expected to start in the matchup.

On Saturday, Hunter was recognized by the school for his recent Heisman Trophy win. He was honored with a brief presentation of the trophy before the opening tipoff and the entire football team took the floor for a final farewell before heading to San Antonio for the upcoming bowl matchup.

Hunter showed off his athleticism by throwing down several impressive dunks, drawing the attention of Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant.

While the two-way star is known for his accomplishments on the field as both a cornerback and wide receiver, he previously played point guard on his high school basketball team at Collins Hill.

Hunter is coming off an incredible 2024 season in Boulder, catching 92 passes for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also had 32 tackles, 11 passes defensed, four interceptions and one forced fumble.
