Vikings post-game report: The Minnesota Vikings beat the Chicago Bears 30-12 on Monday Night Football to improve to 12-2

Welcome to the Vikings postgame report. The Minnesota Vikings brought order to their winter whiteout game with a 30-12 win over the Chicago Bears on Monday night. The Vikings running game proved to be the spark the Vikings offense needed, finishing with 114 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns. Aaron Jones led the way with 86 yards and a 1-yard plunge, while Cam Akers added 24 yards and a 1-yard score. Jones’ touchdown was his 50th of his career. Sam Darnold had a solid night, going 24-of-40 for 231 yards through the air and a 7-yard touchdown pass to Justin Jefferson in the 1st quarter. Jefferson led all Vikings receivers with 7 receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, the Vikings had another advantage when Blake Cashman picked up a Caleb Williams sack fumble caused by Jonathan Greenard in the first quarter. Dallas Turner also scored the Vikings’ other sack midway through the fourth quarter. Will Reichard finished the day perfect with 3 field goals and 3 extra points in the game.
