At the 2025 Golden Globes, an unexpected and somewhat chilly reunion between Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson kept fans paying attention. The cold interaction between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson

Despite rumors of a reconciled friendship, Dwayne’s unenthusiastic reaction to Diesel’s gesture didn’t go unnoticed, leaving fans shuddering at the frosty exchange between the two action icons.

When Diesel took the stage to present the Film and Cinema Achievement Award, he couldn’t help but recognize Dwayne. Spotting his former co-star, Diesel gave a quick wave before adding a playful “Hey, Dwayne,” accompanied by a small giggle.

While the casual recognition seemed light-hearted, it only added to the tension in the air as fans speculated about the true nature of their relationship after years of on-set drama and public feuds. While the Moana speaker responded with a small smile, it soon faded with audience laughter at the awkward interaction, Daily Express US reported.

The actors, who starred in Fast Five, Furious 6 and The Fate of the Furious, hit a rocky patch in their relationship when Dwayne publicly called out an unnamed co-star for unprofessional behavior later it was diesel. The fallout from their feud led the WWE legend to step away from the main Fast & Furious series and instead focus on the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, which he co-directed with Jason Statham.
