The call comes after years of reports that the two actors didn’t get along. Rumors of a feud began in 2016 after filming in 2017 The fate of the angry. Since then, countless reports about their alleged behind-the-scenes drama have followed.

It was rumored that the men clashed more than once during the filming of the eighth installment of the legendary franchise.

In August of that year, the WWE star posted a lengthy statement on Instagram, which he later deleted, praising his female co-stars Fate of the Furious crew, but called out some of his unnamed male co-stars.

“There is no other franchise that makes my blood boil more than this one,” he wrote at the time. “My female co-stars are always amazing and I love them. However, my male co-stars are a different story. Some act like stand-ups and real professionals, others don’t.”

He added: “Those who don’t do this are too cowardly to do anything about it anyway. Candy a—-. When you watch this movie next April and it feels like I’m not in some of them. “These scenes and my blood really boils – you’re right.”

Still, Diesel opened up about their alleged differences and claimed the two were “close.”

“I think some things might be exaggerated. I don’t think that was his intention,” he said of Johnson’s statement. “I know he appreciates how much I work on this franchise. In my house he’s Uncle Dwayne.”

After years of controversy, Johnson announced his resignation Fast and Furious in 2021. It wasn’t until the summer of 2023 that the actors seemingly mended fences when Johnson announced his return to the United States Fast and Furious Series.

“Last summer, Vin and I put the past behind us.” Johnson wrote about (formerly known as Twitter) in June 2023. “We will lead with brotherhood and determination – always caring about the franchise, the characters and the FANS we love.”

During an appearance at Dax Shepard’s Armchair expert Podcast in April 2024, John Cena, Johnson and Diesel’s Fast Costar also mentioned their alleged feud.

“There are certainly rumors about it. I can’t deny that. They have two very motivated alpha people,” Cena said. “You get two, it can only be one.”
