Warmer for the weekend! – KSTP.com 5 Eyewitness News

Today will be partly cloudy with west winds 5 to 15 mph and high temperatures in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. Partly cloudy tonight with patchy fog and lows in the mid to upper 20s with southwest winds 5-10 mph.

The cold weather that plagued the Twin Cities leading up to Thanksgiving will take a break this weekend as warmer conditions are expected this weekend with temperatures in the 40s before turning colder again Tuesday through next Thursday. However, it looks like mild conditions will follow the following weekend (December 14/15).

Today will be partly cloudy with west winds 5 to 15 mph and high temperatures in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. Partly cloudy tonight with patchy fog and lows in the mid to upper 20s with southwest winds 5-10 mph.

Patchy fog Saturday morning, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warmer with highs in the lower to mid 40s in the afternoon with west-southwest winds of 10-15 mph, then partly cloudy Saturday night with lows in the 30s .

Patchy fog and some sunshine Sunday morning, then cloudy with patchy fog, drizzle and light rain in the afternoon, along with highs in the low 40s and lows in the low 30s Monday morning.

Patchy fog and drizzle Monday morning, then light rain mixed with light snow changing to light snow Monday evening with snow accumulations of 1 inch or less. Highs will be around 30 degrees on Monday, then windy and colder Monday evening with gusty northwest winds and lows around 20 degrees Tuesday morning. JONATHAN YUHAS
