The Eagles missed a prime opportunity to win the division and potentially secure the No. 1 overall pick with an ugly 36-33 loss to the Commanders in Week 17. Even without quarterback Jalen Hurts (concussion), Philadelphia still had a chance to win, thanks to AJ Brown.

With Hurts out for Week 17 and Kenny Pickett stepping into the starting lineup at quarterback, Brown will be needed more than ever. Brown, a confident player nicknamed “Always Open,” arrived at Lincoln Financial Field wearing a hoodie that read “Can’t Be Stopped” in front of a Dallas team looking to play spoilsport.

Despite missing three games due to injury, Brown ranks 9th in the NFL with 1,043 receiving yards. Brown became only the second player in franchise history, joining Mike Quick (1983-85), to have three consecutive seasons with more than 1,000 receiving yards. Brown leads the league with 16.3 yards per reception (min. 50 catches) while ranking 3rd in receiving yards per game (86.9) behind Ja’Marr Chase (100.7) and Justin Jefferson ( 92.5) (min. 12 games).
