SZA is back.

The R&B superstar released the music video for lead single “Drive,” starring Ben Stiller. The visual appears ahead of the release of Lana, the deluxe edition of their smash album SOS. The signatory took to social media to announce that the project will now be shut down on the morning of December 20th.

The video, directed by Bradley J. Calder, shows Stiller wistfully syncing up to the slow track while driving through the rain. At some point he hangs out the window and then gets out of the car in the middle of the lonely, open road. As Stiller moves out of focus, the camera moves into the woods, where a wide-eyed SZA frolicks in the grass while the lyrics to “Crybaby” can be heard in the preview in the background. The moment resonates Lanas Album cover she recently shared on social media and her appearance on it Hot while disguised as a beetle.

SZA teased Stiller’s appearance in the video earlier this week, sharing several clips from the video on her Instagram. In addition to confirming her own album, she also set the release date for the second season of Stiller severance pay, of which she is a known fan.

Lana has been in the works since then SOS was first released in December 2022. The original album was one of the biggest records of the year.

“It was supposed to be (‘SOS’) outtakes and some new songs, but it turned out to be more than I expected,” SZA said diversity last year of the new Deluxe Edition. “It was supposed to be really gentle because I had made all my points and I wanted to just float along and not think (too much) and get out of my own head – I was so happy to say something that wasn’t the case my one damn thing.”

SZA will be touring with new music throughout 2025 when she joins her former TDE label mate Kendrick Lamar on the Grand National Tour starting in April next year. SZA was also featured on standout track “Luther” from Lamar’s surprise album GNX.
