Watch Boyz II Men take home the trophy on The Masked Singer

R&B group Boyz II Men won the gold mask trophy The Masked Singer Last night I won season 12 of the show. The trio performed as Buffaloes in cowboy buffalo costumes and were ultimately crowned by the jury consisting of Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Rita Ora and Robin Thicke.

During the final episode, the Buffaloes, also known as Boyz II Men, performed Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” and an a capella version of Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes.” The group competed against the Wasp, who was singer Mario. Host Nick Cannon noted that the Buffaloes were the first group to win the show.

Boyz II Men, consisting of Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanyá Morris, released their latest LP, Under the street lampin 2017. Since then, they have continued to perform and have appeared on various TV shows including Celebrity Wheel of Fortune And Barmageddon. Last year, they performed alongside Belinda Carlisle, Babyface and Chicago as part of PBS’s annual Fourth of July celebration.

Nathan Morris told TV Insider He was happy about the win and remarked: “Honestly, I’m happy. I like that. I consider it an MTV award for us. We’ll never get one of these. This is what I like. I think it’s cute.”

Wanyá Morris added about taking part in the show: “We all had concerns. When we found out we were doing it, we actually thought, Okay, so they’ll know who we are. So, first of all, we have to change our voices. We also have to choose songs that they wouldn’t think we would sing, and we really don’t want to do that. Hopefully they find out who it is and get rid of us early.”
