For the second time this season, the Los Angeles Rams needed a comeback to beat the San Francisco 49ers. On Thursday night, their largest deficit was just three points, but they trailed in the fourth quarter before scoring the final nine points of the game to win 12-6.

Even though there were no touchdowns and only 25 first downs, it still ended up being a close game that could have gone either way. Puka Nacua made a great play with a 51-yard catch, Kyren Williams again rushed for 100 yards and Darious Williams made a great interception in the end zone to score points for San Francisco.

There’s no question that rain and wet conditions played a role in the first NFL game of 2024 without a touchdown, but it made for a closely contested game between two division rivals.
