“We laugh at your accusations about the little ones?” – Dave Blunts accuses Summrs of making fun of his health during his hospital stay

Dave Blunts has hit out at fellow rapper Summrs for making fun of his health during his hospital stay this week. On January 2, 2024, Blunts confirmed the news of his hospitalization on Instagram after a video of him sleeping on a hospital bed sparked concern online.

According to Hot News Hip Hop, rapper Summrs allegedly made fun of Blunts’ weight after Blunts’ video surfaced online. On January 3, Dave Blunts called out Summrs on Instagram for making fun of him. He tagged the rapper in his stories and wrote:

“I just want to know what’s so funny. Tell me if we laugh at your accusations with the little ones? We laugh at how your KanKan walks around with a bunch of sticks?”

Blunts appeared to make fun of Summrs’ friendship with fellow rapper KanKan. His story reportedly alluded to the fact that both had been accused of alleged sexual assault in the past. The phrase “bundle of sticks” is a reference to the F-word, which Blunts frequently uses in his music.

Dave Blunts not only slammed Summrs with his stories, but also assured his fans that he will take better care of his health in 2025. The rapper already went viral for performing in 2024 while supporting an oxygen tank.

Dave Blunts reveals he was hospitalized with flu during his show at the Roxy

On January 3, 2024, Dave Blunts confirmed the news of his hospitalization on Instagram after a video of him sleeping on a hospital bed made the rounds online. Commenting on the video, the rapper said that it was recorded without his permission and wrote:

“Yesterday, instead of taking care of his kids or checking to see if he has a job that actually matches his applications, yesterday a 40-year-old man decided to come into my room while I was sleeping and then found me in my hospital bed I wake up and see on several blogs and sites that I’m in the hospital.”

Blunts explained that he didn’t want to inform his fans about the hospitalization because he didn’t want them to assume that he wasn’t “taking my health journey seriously.” Speaking about the reason for his hospital visit, Blunts explained that he contracted the flu from one of his fans during one of his shows at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles last week.

“It’s not my fault that I’m here. One of my fans at my show at the Roxy actually gave me the flu. The doctors told me to just let the cold run its course, but I kept getting worse, so I had to go to the hospital.”

Additionally, Dave Blunts promised that in 2025 he would focus 100% on improving his health. He also wrote about the loss of motivation due to such “setbacks” and expressed his dissatisfaction that someone was recording him in a vulnerable moment without his permission.

“I’m not giving up unless you give up on me, but this shit is hard, especially when 40-year-old deadbeat dads decide to take me into the hospital at my lowest moment,” Blunts said.

However, Blunts said he would not give up because then “Solar” would prove to be right. It is unclear who he was referring to as he also mentioned a person named Isabella, who was said to be his ex-girlfriend. The rapper’s statements suggested that he was “not enough” for Solar and Isabella and wanted to be “enough” for his fans.

Dave Blunts has often raised concerns among fans about his health issues. In 2024, he went viral after a video surfaced online of him performing at Juice Wrld Day while receiving oxygen support. The rapper revealed in an interview in September 2024 that he weighs 270 kg. He previously suffered heart failure in 2023.
