Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola speaks to TNT Sports: “We played well, really, really well.

“We have only conceded a few goals, some changes have taken place, but I am so proud of these players. They gave it their all and tried, and now we live in these times and hope we can change the results. I know it’s difficult in the Champions League in Europe.” We played really well today, didn’t lose as many balls as before, we tried, we got into the positions.

“Against Italian teams that defend so deep and so compactly. Master of these types of situations. We play the way we are and we missed the result, but the performance is there.”

With two games to go we are nervous in the Champions League: “We have two games, we might need a point.”

“You go to Turin, Paris, our three away games were really tough. You have to accept that. We will turn around, not forget this time and appreciate more what we have done in the past, what we will do in the future.”

He talks about asking himself questions at his post-game press conference: “Yes, of course. I analyze and use what happens in the results.”

“Of course I question myself, in the good moments and in the bad moments. I was stable in the good moments, I was stable in the bad moments. I’m trying to find the way to find victory.”

“The game was there. I’m incredibly honest about knowing when we’re not playing well or when we’re not playing well.”
