Weather forecast for Arizona: It gets warmer on the way into the valley

The beautiful weather lasts all week. Temperatures will be near average Thursday, with highs in the mid to upper 60s across the valley. Northern Arizona will be windy and most states will see passing clouds throughout the day.

A few rounds of isolated rain/snow showers are possible across the far northern edge of the state. However, most of Arizona will remain dry through the weekend.
Temperatures will climb into the upper 60s on Friday and into the low 70s on Saturday. The mid-70s are expected in Phoenix by Sunday. It will be partly sunny on Friday morning, becoming sunnier later in the day and over the weekend. It will also be windy in northern Arizona this weekend.

Temperatures on the San Francisco Peaks and White Mountains will remain in the high 80s through the weekend, good news for snowmaking efforts in Snowbowl and Sunrise.

Next week will see warmer conditions throughout the week with highs in the low to mid 70s.

On New Year’s Eve, maximum temperatures will reach around 23 degrees, with the temperature dropping to below 50 degrees around midnight. The new year is off to an above-average start with highs back in the mid-70s.

It is likely to become dry from 2025 onwards.
