Ice storm warnings east and north of the metro go into effect as early as 8 p.m. Friday. Expect ice accumulations of two-tenths to three-tenths of an inch, as well as up to another inch of snow and sleet, which could lead to power outages and tree damage, as well as hazardous travel conditions.
