The Steelers face the Browns again today, this time in Pittsburgh and with no snow in the forecast.

STEELERS IN AFC PLAYOFF PICTURE

The Steelers can’t clinch a playoff spot or an AFC North title this week, although they have the playoff spot all but assured at this point. A Steelers win would eliminate the Browns.

THE LAST TIME

Thanks largely to their own inefficiency on offense and the Browns’ conversion of four fourth downs, the Steelers fell behind 18-6 early in the fourth quarter before staging a furious comeback that gave the team an eventual lead of 19: 18 provided.

But another missed offensive opportunity, a hard punt and a crucial fumble on a play in the third period brought the Browns back within scoring distance as Cleveland pulled away with a 24-19 victory during a lake-effect blizzard.

STEELERS BROWNS SERIES

The Steelers lead the all-time series 79-63-1, although they have been much closer lately. The Steelers have won the series just once in the last four seasons, while the Browns won the last playoff game between the teams in 2020. The Steelers are 7-6-1 against the Browns since the start of the 2018 season.
