Wendy Williams’ health has been declining for several years, but the latest update from her guardian has left her stunned.

The 60-year-old former talk show host “suffers from early-onset dementia and as a result is cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated,” Williams’ legal team and guardian Sabrina Morrissey said in court documents obtained by The US Sun.

Morrissey filed an injunction against the network on February 20, four days before the doc’s premiere, to prevent the doc from being released. The request was denied by a judge, who said stopping the film was an “impermissible prior restraint on speech” that violated the First Amendment.

Williams’ team released a statement earlier this year regarding her health and her diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. The statement said: “Aphasia, a disorder that affects language and communication skills, and frontotemporal dementia, a progressive disorder that affects behavior and cognitive function, have already created significant hurdles in Wendy’s life.”
