Wendy Williams’ health is critical given her battle with dementia.

The television personality’s mental health has reportedly worsened, according to a recent lawsuit filed by her legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.

According to documents filed in a New York court earlier this month, the former talk show host is now considered “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”

The Nov. 12 filing includes a statement from Morrissey’s attorney describing Williams’ condition (see Page Six).

“(Wendy Williams Hunter), an acclaimed entertainer who tragically suffered from early-onset dementia, leaving her cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated,” the memo said.

Morrissey’s filing is part of an ongoing lawsuit against A+E Networks, accusing the company of exploiting Williams through her Lifetime documentary. Where is Wendy Williams?

The Guardian had previously tried to stop publication of the four-part series, which portrayed the 60-year-old in a vulnerable state. The documentary included scenes of Williams crying over her financial problems and her battle with addiction.

After filming the documentary, it was revealed that Williams had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.

These conditions lead to memory loss and erratic behavior. Williams was reportedly already showing symptoms of her illness when production of the documentary began.

The ongoing legal battle and reports of Williams’ deteriorating health highlight the challenges she has faced in recent years.
