We’re watching a big storm to our south today and it’s cold this week

A severe winter storm will pass our south today, with only a few storms or a snow shower here. Driving on I-95 through the Mid-Atlantic will be difficult! As this storm moves away tonight, we will experience colder weather with gusty winds tomorrow through midweek. We are also expecting a busy storm track next weekend!

This morning: Clouds are increasing and it is getting cold. Lows will be in the upper teens to mid 20s.

Today: If we see a storm to our south, it will mostly miss CT, with the exception of a few storms or a snow shower for SW CT and little to no impact. Maybe a dusting…dry for much of the state. Mostly cloudy and cold with highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s.

Tonight: Clearing with increasing wind. Lows are in the 10s to around 20s.

Morning: Sun and a few clouds, windy and cold with highs in the mid 20s to near 32 degrees and wind chills in the 10s to low 20s. Wind gusts 30-40 mph.

Wednesday: Scattered clouds, windy and cold with highs only in the mid to upper 20s and wind chills in the 10s. Wind gusts 30-40 mph.

Thursday: More clouds with some sun, windy and cold. Highs will be in the mid to upper 20s and wind chills will be in the 10s. Wind gusts 30-40 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny and windy with maximum temperatures of 30-35°C.

Saturday: Watch as another storm passes to our south. Tight location with light snowfall late in the day and at night. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s.

Sunday: Any early light snowfall will end when the storm gets close enough. Sun with passing clouds and breezy wind. Highs in the low 30s.
