Wet Saturday, mild Sunday

Hello friends, I’m meteorologist William Morrison, here for a quick check on your forecast. Well, we had a heck of a weak system today that passed north of us and brought a heck of a few, uh, very light showers to some of us. Otherwise, um, a few clouds were able to break in as a result and we saw *** a bit of sunshine, which was a *** nice, welcome change, but overall we’ll keep the clouds, Uh, in. Predictions for the rest of today into the overnight hours, and I think we’ll wake up to start our Saturdays with temperatures mostly in the 40s ahead of our next system coming through. I think we’ll start out pretty dry, but as we get further into the morning hours the chance of rain will increase, especially on the other side of the river valley, as the system picks up more rain. The Arcloex, there we believe the chances of rain are better across the river valley, particularly in the afternoon hours where there may be some periods of moderate to heavy rainfall, leading to possible flooding, particularly with all the rain we’re seeing in have had in the last 5 days or so. In some places it rained more than 23 inches. Uh, we don’t need additional rain that could lead to flooding, but, uh, that’s what we could potentially have in the next 24 hours. So we’ll be keeping a close eye on it as the system continues to break out late Saturday, potentially giving us a few showers afterwards. That’s still some uncertainty, but late Saturday evening ***Sunday morning, it’s pretty certain that we’ll once again see fairly dry temperatures in the 40s, but. It’s going to really clear up on Sunday as far as our chance of rain, no chance of rain, and we’re going to see a little bit more sunshine, so our temperatures are going to get pretty warm here, and that warmth is going to last through Monday before, um, it gets pretty cool again on New Year’s Eve . We’ll talk more about this tonight on 4569 and 10. Until then, I wish you a great evening and hope to see you then.
