What is open and closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

For last-minute shopping, pharmacy supplies, or dining out on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, here are the open and closed hours of various businesses in San Diego County.

  • Christmas Eve: OPEN from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m
  • Christmas: OPEN from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m

Aldi

  • Christmas Eve: Limited hours that vary by location. California stores are listed here: https://stores.aldi.us/ca
  • Christmas: CLOSED

Ralph’s

  • Christmas Eve: OPEN. Shops and gas stations close at 10 p.m. Most pharmacies close at 5 p.m
  • Christmas: CLOSED

  • Christmas Eve: OPEN from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m
  • Christmas: CLOSED

Trader Joe’s

  • Christmas Eve: open until 5 p.m

  • CLOSED on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

CVS Pharmacy

  • OPEN on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a CVS Health representative said. Some stores may have reduced opening hours. “We encourage customers to call their local store or check cvs.com for store hours before visiting,” she added.

Ralph’s Pharmacy

  • Christmas Eve: OPEN. Most pharmacies close at 5 p.m
  • Christmas: CLOSED

General Merchandise

Goal
