At the end of Saturday night, one in four college football players will see their name permanently engraved alongside some of the most famous figures in the history of the sport.

With the 2024 regular season over and the College Football Playoff field set, the Heisman Trophy will be awarded at a ceremony in New York this weekend.

The most prestigious and hallowed individual award in college football will be presented to one of four finalists whose contributions and on-field excellence defined the 2024 season – Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Miami quarterback Cam Ward.

Given the history and mythology of the award, the awards ceremony is often one of the most anticipated events on the college football calendar, when weeks and even months of debate over who should win finally come to an end with a player hoisting the stiff-arms trophy .

What channel is the Heisman ceremony on today?

The Heisman ceremony will air Saturday night on ESPN. Streaming options include the ESPN app, ESPN+ – ESPN’s subscription streaming service – and Fubo, which offers a free trial.

The presentation is part of a one-hour program, with the award usually only being presented in the back half of the broadcast window.
