This year’s tree was transported from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The Norway spruce is reportedly 74 feet tall and weighs an estimated 11 tons.

“The Norway spruce is great because of the size it can reach; “It can hold the lights on its branches and stands there beautifully and proudly, as a tree should,” said head gardener Erik Pauze in a recent interview. “(This year’s tree) is perfect all around. It has the wonderful Christmas tree shape all the way to the top.”
