Which streaming service will the movie “Wicked” be on? Here's how to watch at home

The film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical “Wicked” can be streamed at home from December 31, 2024.
Physical copies of the film will be available for purchase starting February 4, 2025.

Starting today, fans can watch “Wicked” right from home. The wildly popular film makes it to streaming after grossing over $600 million at the global box office.

The film, starring singer Ariana Grande and actress Cynthia Erivo (as Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba respectively), has been running successfully in cinemas since its release on November 22nd. From extensive promos to special popcorn buckets, fans flocked to see the popular Broadway musical adaptation despite theaters implementing strict no-singing rules at performances.

Which streaming services offer “Wicked”?

According to Universal Pictures’ website, “Wicked” will be available for digital streaming starting Tuesday on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home (formerly Vudu), Comcast Xfinity, Cox, YouTube and Microsoft Movies & TV.

Select online retailers such as Amazon Prime will show additional exclusive content from the film not shown in theaters, such as deleted and extended scenes, as well as a sing-along version, a 40-minute tour of Oz and other bonus features.

“Wicked” will release DVD and Blu-ray copies in February

According to Universal, there will also be a 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD version on February 4, 2025. Pre-orders are available now at Target, Walmart, Amazon and GRUV, which is owned by Universal Pictures.
