Since the first and only trailer over a year ago, Rockstar has refused to show us any more of the mystery that lies within GTA 6. While everyone has been begging for a new look, one particularly vocal former Rockstar developer says the lack of information overall is “really working.”

Obbe Vermeij served as technical director of Rockstar Games between 1995 and 2009 and was involved in GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas and GTA 4. Although he has been away from the studio for some time, he is very open when it comes to donating information about his time there and his work on those classic episodes – as well as others Rockstar developers had previously asked him to close his entire blog after details of canceled games were announced. With that in mind, when asked on Twitter what he thought about the studio’s continued secrecy, he offered some interesting (but rather ironic) thoughts on the subject.
