Whitney Cummings is going viral for brutally denouncing CNN during its New Year’s Eve special — while also criticizing Democrats for not offering a capable presidential candidate because “they were too busy holding up a corpse.”

“I’m now playing, you know, in theaters that have about 3,000 seats, which is about the same as CNN’s audience these days,” the comedian told the network’s star host Anderson Cooper on his annual live broadcast with Bravo’s Andy Cohen.

Cummings became even more testy as he condemned the Democrats.

“The Democrats couldn’t hold a primary this year. They were too busy holding up a corpse,” she said of longtime support for President Biden’s re-election even as his age overwhelmed him.

“The pro-choice party gave nothing to their voters when it came to their candidate,” the comedian and actress continued, hinting at the switch to Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Kamala has been forced on us so hard you’d think it was patented by Pfizer,” she quipped, referring to the COVID-19 vaccinations that have been required of many people during the pandemic.

Cummings, famous for her roasts, doubled down on her comments in response to a clip that had been viewed nearly nine million times by early Wednesday afternoon.

“I mean, please list the lies I told?” she wrote.

She later added, “I had a super long list of ‘things the mainstream media doesn’t cover,’ but only included the ones that I was really good at fact-checking!”

Anderson and Cohen didn’t try to stop her tirade, even as it was directed at CNN — instead, Cohen responded at one point, “Wow, you’re all on fire today.”
