Fox News anchors Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt announced their engagement after privately dating for several years. They are the latest Fox News couple to take their relationship to the next level.

In an official statement from the broadcaster, the two said they got engaged over Christmas at their home church, with the blessing and support of their families – including their children from previous marriages.

Hannity, 62, and Earhardt, 48, have become well-known conservative commentators due to their long careers at Fox News. Hannity hosts his own primetime show, Hannity, while Earhardt co-hosts the morning show, Fox & friends.

Earhardt first joined the network in 2007 and anchored the overnight news. When she came to Fox News, Hannity had already been working there for 11 years.

Shortly after joining Fox, Earhardt began hosting her own segment Hannity titled “Ainsley Across America.” At the time, Earhardt was married to her first husband, Kevin McKinney. The two finally divorced in 2009.

Earhardt’s involvement with the station eventually landed her a job hosting a new show called ” Fox & Friends first in 2012. That same year, she married her second husband, Clemson University quarterback Will Proctor.

The two had a daughter named Hayden together in 2015.

When Earhardt returned from maternity leave in 2016, she landed the job as co-host of the popular morning show Fox & friends — a favorite of President-elect Donald Trump.

Although she knew “nothing” about politics when she joined Fox News, Earhardt has earned a reputation for defending Christianity and espousing traditional conservative views.

Memorably, during a 2015 episode OutnumberedEarhardt suggested exasperatedly that “the majority” should be protected while discussing a Missouri sheriff who was criticized for putting an “In God We Trust” bumper sticker on the back of patrol cars.

“What about the majority? I’m so tired of protecting the minority! “What about the rest of the country?” Earhardt said at the time, assuming that the majority of Americans agreed with her.

Earhardt was never shy about her religious beliefs. She told Decision Magazine Reading “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby during her college years inspired her to dedicate her life to Jesus Christ.

In an interview with The hillWhen asked about her dream interview, Earhardt said she was looking forward to “sitting with Jesus Christ.”

She told The Conservator Earlier this year, she said that “the first thing she took with her” during a house fire was her black leather Bible with her name stamped on it.

According to Fox News, it’s ultimately her faith that led her to Hannity.

Earhardt and her second husband divorced in 2019. That same year, Hannity and his first wife of more than 20 years, Jill Rhodes, also divorced – although the couple said they had separated years before.

Hannity and his ex-wife have two children together, Patrick and Merri.

It is unclear when Hannity and Earhardt met. sources told Vanity Fair And People The magazine claimed in 2020 that the two had been dating privately “for years,” but Fox News hosts denied the claim.

Sources claimed Hannity and Earhardt attended ex’s wedding Fox & friends Presenter Pete Hegseth and producer Jennifer Rauchet together in August 2019. Hegseth fathered a child with Rauchet while he was married to his second wife.

Regardless of when they met, Hannity and Earhardt maintain a long-distance relationship between Florida and New York. The couple told Fox News that they had made their former spouses “aware of the engagement” and had a good relationship with their co-parents.
