Although Lainey Wilson is not married yet, she is in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend Delvin “Duck” Hodges. The couple has been together since 2021, but since Wilson is an extremely private person, their relationship only became public knowledge in 2023.

In an interview with People In June 2023, Wilson said she wanted to make sure Delvin was with her for the right reasons. She also mentioned that, as it turned out, he actually did. The couple walked the red carpet together at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Devlin Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, began his professional football journey in 2019 as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although his NFL career was short-lived, he moved to the Ottawa Redblacks in 2021.

Hodges, nicknamed “Duck” by his football coach at Samford University in Alabama, is also an accomplished duck caller, winning the 2018 Alabama State Duck Calling Championship.

After retiring from sports, Devlin transitioned to a new career in real estate in 2022, joining Mossy Oak Properties in Louisiana. His keen interest in real estate and hunting led him to this position where he helps his clients with:

“Hunting camp, hunting land (and) farmland.”

Lainey and Delvin met through mutual friends and Lainey liked him from the first date. She said:

“We went to this old place called Silverados, and they had free beer and wine from 5 to 10 p.m. I thought, ‘This kid likes to play football on a budget too.’ This will work.’”
