Who plays on Monday Night Football? How to watch Vikings vs. Bears, Raiders vs. Falcons

Four teams. Two games. One night. Monday evening.

The NFL will bow out in style in Week 15 with a Monday Night Football doubleheader. We’re heading into the home stretch of the season, but a lot of people aren’t thinking about the playoffs tonight. Only the Vikings have a spot in the playoffs until Monday.

The Falcons have slim hopes while the Bears and Raiders prepare to watch the postseason from their couches. However, given the fantasy implications and much more, there’s no reason why we can’t get ready for a great night of action on the gridiron.

Who’s playing on Monday Night Football tonight?

To conclude Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season, two games will take place on Monday evening. Here are the games on the menu:

Vikings against bears

Location: US Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Vikings will host the Bears as they continue to try to track down the Lions in the NFC North. It’s a matchup we saw as recently as Week 12, when Chicago’s comeback efforts failed. Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams scored a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter, but saw his team lose 30-27 in overtime.

Now he will look to exact revenge and deal a blow to the Vikings’ hopes of winning a division title. To do that, however, the Bears would have to be able to slow down the Vikings’ offense, which has been running like a well-oiled machine this season. Sam Darnold is having a well-timed career year, throwing just five touchdowns in a Week 14 win. The soon-to-be free agent appears poised to cash in this offseason, although it’s unclear if that will be the case in the Twin Cities will be.

Armed with two standout receivers, Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, and quality players spread throughout the offense, Minnesota is a handful to defend while also boasting a feisty defense.

In contrast, the Bears are still facing a season full of change after several coaching changes. Thomas Brown is handling the interim duties, but all the moving parts make Chicago look lost. The early results in Week 14 were not good, so they will look to rectify that at the end of the season.

Raiders vs Falcons

Location: Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the second of two games on Monday evening, two teams that are constantly changing face each other. Viewer discretion is advised when viewing the Raiders’ quarterback room, which is currently a revolving door of players. Injuries have thrown this room into complete disarray as Vegas inches ever closer to his possible first pick in April’s draft.

Unfortunately for their opponents on Monday, the Falcons aren’t in much better shape. Kirk Cousins has come back down to earth over the course of the season, throwing eight interceptions and no touchdowns in the last four games.

Demand for rookie Michael Penix Jr. has continued to grow, but there is no sign yet that Atlanta is ready to go down that route. Either way, Monday represents an important game for Cousins, especially since his team has lost four straight and been eliminated from the playoffs. They have a great chance to shoot their season in Vegas. Whether this would only be a temporary solution is a story for another day.

How to watch Monday Night Football

Monday Night Football in Week 15 features another doubleheader, meaning the Remotes will have a practice. One of the games will be broadcast on ABC, the other on ESPN.

The Vikings vs. Bears game will also be available on ESPN+, while both games can be streamed with a Fubo or NFL+ subscription.

The Vikings vs. Bears game on Monday Night Football in Week 15 will air on ABC. The Minnesota-based contest is given priority by the Disney-owned networks, which makes sense considering the NFC North matchup features 2024 No. 1 pick Caleb Williams and an 11-2 Vikings team .

Raiders vs Falcons

The Raiders vs. Falcons game on Monday Night Football in Week 15 can be found on ESPN. Vegas appears to be the smaller of the two games and has a real chance of landing the top draft pick in the upcoming draft. They’re also struggling with an unclear quarterback position, while the Falcons themselves are struggling. As far as drama goes, this game doesn’t seem to be the preferred matchup on Monday night.

The last time these two teams met, it was a close contest that required overtime. Conventional wisdom holds that the Bears will, of course, have difficulty staying away from the friendly confines of Solider Field and playing in one of the NFL’s more difficult venues. More importantly, Minnesota will not take its foot off the gas and would rather shut down its opponents than allow 17 points in the final quarter.

It’s hard to believe the coaching changes will be beneficial to the Bears in the short term. They’ve already lost seven in a row, and that won’t change in Week 15. After a 25-point loss in San Francisco, Chicago will not be able to stop all of Minnesota’s weapons. Addison and TJ Hockenson are primed for big days at the office, but Chicago steals a late touchdown to make the score look more respectable. Viking 31, Bears 17

Raiders vs Falcons Prediction

This game has such a high profile that you can watch it when the other one is on a commercial. It’s ugly. It might even lag behind other networks like “NCIS” or “Little Big Town’s Christmas at the Opry” on Monday nights. The Raiders are bad, but Cousins may look even worse. Antonio Pierce’s Vegas team can be frisky at times, but after losing Maxx Crosby this season, it’s hard to imagine that being the case this week.

The Falcons are the team to win for, even if those hopes feel like a distant hope now. Cousins should be able to get enough to break that streak of no touchdowns in a game that has a decent margin of victory on the scoresheet. Falcons 23, Raiders 10
