Need this asap.

Capping off a year that included a Grammy nomination for Best Country Solo Performance for “Fast Car” with the release of his fifth studio album, fathers and sons and the opening of his bar in Nashville Category 10Luke Combs took to Instagram today to announce a brand new duet, seemingly titled “More Less Than Perfect.”

Just a few minutes ago, Combs released the one-minute teaser with the caption: “Who should I play this in a duet with?”

You can’t always judge a song by its first teaser, but I have to say, this sounds like a total hit for Combs and whoever he decides to duet the track with. With sparse production backed only by a piano and Combs’ vocals simply dripping with soul, “More Less Than Perfect” is sure to become a popular wedding song with every release.

Combs’ vocals perfectly complement the heartfelt lyrics throughout the teaser:

“But just because I’m broken doesn’t mean I’m worthless

The heart you let me hold, I know I don’t deserve it

You could run away and save yourself some damage

But you keep loving me even though I couldn’t

More than perfect”

It’s no well-kept secret that Combs’ heart lies when it comes to ballads, be it “Beautiful Crazy,” “Forever After All” or the underrated “Love You Anyway,” and it looks like he has it taken advantage of the same niche here after a little change fathers and sons this year.

There is currently no release date for the song.
