Who will perform at the Super Bowl 2025? – NBC Chicago

Year after year, the Super Bowl attracts a lot of attention through the football game itself – but also through the commercials.

And don’t forget the musical performances.

While it’s still too early to know which two teams will face off in the biggest football game of the year on February 9, some details are known, including which artists will take the stage.

Rap megastar Kendrick Lamar will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lamar, who has won 17 Grammys, said he is looking forward to bringing hip-hop to the NFL’s championship game, where he will be a guest artist in 2022 with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg performed.

“Rap music remains the most influential genre to this day,” he said in a statement announcing the news in September. “And I will be there to remind the world why. “You found the right thing.”

Roc Nation and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins will serve as co-executive producers of the halftime show. pgLang is in charge of the creative direction of Lamar’s performance.

While it hasn’t been announced who will be joining Lamar, it’s clear he won’t be the only big name taking the stage.

Jon Baptiste, a New Orleans native, Grammy-winning musician and television personality, will kick off the festivities with the national anthem. Pre-game festivities will also include an appearance by Lauren Daigle and Trombone Shorty, who will perform “America the Beautiful.”

And that’s not all.

Grammy winner Ledisi, also from New Orleans, will sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
