When he becomes the director of the children’s Christmas play, he struggles to get his singing and dancing classmates to discover the true meaning of Christmas and ends up with an iconic small tree in the process.

“Peanuts” specials have been a holiday staple since the ’60s, with other favorites like “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” following the release of the Christmas special.

Some fans may be disappointed to discover that the “Peanuts” properties have lived behind a paywall since 2020 as part of a subscription streaming service. But in keeping with the holiday spirit, the special will be available for free twice before December 25th this year.
