Will Kyrie Irving or Luka Doncic play in the second Mavericks-Clippers game?

The Dallas Mavericks will play their second straight home game against the LA Clippers on Saturday after losing to the Clips 118-95 on Thursday. They played this game without Luka Doncic (heel bruise) and Kyrie Irving (shoulder soreness) and were hoping one or both could be back for this game on Saturday.

Luka Doncic is out Saturday because of the bruised heel he apparently suffered early in Sunday’s win over the Golden State Warriors. He may try to be 100% healthy for the Christmas game against the Timberwolves.

However, Kyrie Irving will be back for this game as he is not listed on the injury report. They will need him after the offense seemed lost at times on Thursday.

Jaden Hardy (ankle sprain), Dante Exum (right wrist surgery) and Brandon Williams (thumb sprain) are also out.

Former Maverick Derrick Jones Jr. is no longer on the Clippers’ injury report after he was questionable to start Thursday’s game because of a hamstring strain, but he played and scored eight points. Otherwise, there are no changes from the Clippers: Kawhi Leonard (right knee), Terance Mann (right middle finger), Kobe Brown (back) and PJ Tucker (outside the team) are all out.
