Denver Broncos second-year cornerback Riley Moss suffered a knee injury in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders and has not played in the team’s final three games. Here are the latest updates on Moss’ MCL status for Week 17.

Riley Moss injury update

Moss participated fully in all three days of practice this week and is not at risk of injury heading into Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. “He’s doing well,” Broncos coach Sean Payton said after practice Thursday. “He’ll be ready to go.”

How long will Riley Moss be out?

Moss is ready to return for Saturday’s game against the Bengals. “He has incredibly competitive juice,” Payton said. “I would say you definitely felt his absence. Not just physically as a player, but also with his presence.” Moss is expected to be back in the lineup against Cincy.

Broncos cornerback depth chart

Kris Abrams-Draine filled in for Moss the last two games while Damarri Mathis alternated snaps. Moss is now ready to start alongside Pat Surtain against the Bengals, with Ja’Quan McMillian taking over the starting spot. Abrams-Draine and Mathis will provide depth and special teams ace Tremon Smith rounds out the cornerback room.
