UPDATE: December 25, 2024, 1:15 p.m. ET– So far, Taylor Swift has not been seen at Acrisure Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Despite previous reports that the Swift family would celebrate Christmas with Travis Kelce, it appears the pop star did not join the NFL player in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So far this season, Swift has yet to play in an away game, partly due to her busy schedule on the Eras Tour. It’s also possible that safety concerns played a role in their absence.

Still, Swift made a point of attending all but one home game in Kansas City – and she had a good excuse for missing the Dec. 8 game, considering she was in Vancouver for her last one Eras Tour concert at all!

With Swift not at the Pittsburgh stadium, it seems less likely that she will make it to the Chiefs’ final game of the regular season against the Denver Broncos on January 5, although we can’t say that for sure. Maybe that’s why she put in such a strong performance on match day on December 21st.

Of course, this probably won’t be their last appearance of the NFL season. We can still look forward to the playoffs in the new year.
