Windy winds and cold temperatures to end the week

AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: We will continue to see isolated thunderstorms and cloudy skies this afternoon. We will see isolated light snow showers across the region tonight. There will be lake effect snow and strong northwest winds on the south bank. Winds will be sustained between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph.

FRIDAY: On Friday the sky will be cloudy and there will be some thunderstorms. Morning lows will be in the single digits and low teens, with wind chill values ​​in the single digits above and below zero. Highs will be in the teens with strong northwest winds throughout the day, looking like they will be in the single digits. Heavy lake effect snowfall will continue along the south coast.

SATURDAY: Lows Saturday morning will be in the single digits, with wind chills in the single digits and teens below zero. Cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms are expected. Highs will be in the teens and low 20s.
