The tail end of the storm system producing this cold and gusty northwesterly wind. It is a squeezing effect between the storm system exiting our area and the high pressure from the west that will allow these winds to strengthen this morning and continue into the afternoon. It will be a factor that will make things feel a lot colder this morning and today. AND EVEN INTO TOMORROW. FROM SPRINGFIELD TOWARDS WESTERN WE HAVE A FEW STORMS. Otherwise, conditions are dry out there this morning. Watch for a few flakes as this blustery northwest wind picks up. IT ACTUALLY BECOMES STRONGER IN THE AFTERNOON.
