It will be mostly clear in the evening, then clouds will form later tonight as the next storm system approaches. A wintry mix is ​​expected to develop from west to east on Sunday. It will continue into the afternoon before changing to full rain in the evening. A light accumulation of snow and sleet is possible on the ridges north and west of I-81. We expect about 1 to 2 inches of snow, with isolated spots and higher elevations up to 3 inches. Before transferring, be careful when driving on bridges and overpasses. Temperatures will warm and the mix will change to all rain by the evening. Highs will again be in the mid to upper 30s. There will be early showers on Monday, then more during the afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s. Milder air continues to move in overnight, along with more wet weather. Persistent morning showers will end Tuesday, so the rest of the day will be mild, in the low to mid 50s, with partly to mostly sunny skies.
