Ruben Amorim suspects Marcus Rashford’s recent exit from the Manchester United squad is due to the England international not having changed since his first exit.

Rashford has not been in the matchday squad since December 12 in the UEFA Europa League against Viktoria Plzen and has since given an interview in which he said he was ready for a new challenge after spending his entire professional career at United .

Amorim has repeatedly stressed that the England international’s absence was not due to his desire to move on, but rather due to his performances.

Rashford’s exile entered his fifth game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday and afterwards Amorim said: “It’s always the same reason.”

“We have to be the same professionals, the same guys, win or lose. If I lose, I have to be stronger. I will follow my idea to the end.”
