Women’s Tennis Unveils Spring 2025 Schedule


OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton women’s tennis head coach Tom Lilly officially unveiled the Bluejays’ 2025 spring schedule on Wednesday, December 18th.

The Bluejays are scheduled to play in 21 games, including eight at the Hanscom Tennis Center and one on the road against a team that finished last season ranked No. 1 in the year-end Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.

Lilly opens its 28thTh season on the Bluejays’ sidelines with a road game at Kansas on Jan. 24 before returning home to face former Missouri Valley Conference rival Missouri State on Jan. 25.

Creighton will then play five of its next six games on the road, starting with a contest against Northern Iowa on February 1st and a game against Gustavus on February 2nd. CU will also travel to Drake on Feb. 8 before hosting Idaho on Feb. 9 at the Hanscom Tennis Center. Another road trip takes the Bluejays to St. Louis for a game against Lindenwood on February 14th, followed by a game at Western Illinois on February 15th.

The Bluejays return to Omaha to open BIG EAST play on February 22nd against DePaul before facing crosstown rival Omaha on February 23rd. CU then hosts UConn on March 1 and Bradley on March 7 before making their annual spring break trip down to Orlando, Florida.

In the Sunshine State, the Bluejays will face Fairleigh Dickinson on March 11, Niagara on March 12 and Connecticut College on March 13.

The Jays return to the Heartland for three straight home games against Kansas City (March 19), Marquette (March 28) and North Dakota (March 29) before ending the season with road games at Wichita State (April 4) and South will complete Dakota (April 8) as well as a neutral site game against North Texas on April 5 in Wichita, Kansas.

The BIG EAST Championships will be held again in Cayce, SC, April 17-20.

All Bluejays home games are open to the public and admission is free.
