WWE confirms start time for WWE Royal Rumble

WWE will continue its pattern of early start times for premium live events with Royal Rumble 2025.

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames had an early start time of 6:00 p.m. ET. This trend will continue into 2025 as the company has confirmed 6:00 p.m. ET as the start time for WWE Royal Rumble on February 1st.

Additionally, WWE announced that the January 31st episode of WWE SmackDown will air from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The official announcement is as follows:

“WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), announced today that SmackDown will take place on Friday, January 31 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis as part of Royal Rumble weekend. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 11 at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com.

Beginning with the Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025, Indianapolis will host WWE’s three largest stadium events at Lucas Oil Stadium in the coming years as part of a unique partnership between WWE and Indiana Sports Corp, including WrestleMania and a two-day SummerSlam earlier this year . Additionally, live events from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and WWE will take place throughout the partnership in arenas across Indiana, including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Evansville.

“Royal Rumble” will air live in the US starting at 6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m. PT exclusively on Peacock.”
