Let’s get down to business.

SURVIVOR SERIES PREDICTION

war games: OG Bloodline + CM Punk vs. New Bloodline + Bronson Reed

Geno Mrosko: CM Punk will get this favor, and we will be wondering for a long time what exactly this favor is. Selection: OG Bloodline + CM Punk

Sean Rueter: It’s hard to imagine Roman losing two games in a row. A win for Team OTC here gives The Rock another reason to appear on an upcoming big show (like the Netflix premiere of Raw) and an interesting plot point in the upcoming feud between CM Punk and Seth Rollins. Selection: OG Bloodline + CM Punk

Kyle Decker: I can’t imagine the OG bloodline reuniting only to lose this big game. Yes, there are problems between the OGs. Yes, CM Punk is a wild card. But I think it’s time for Solo to stop getting these wins. And since Paul Heyman owes CM Punk a mysterious favor that only works if they win, it must continue like this. Selection: The OG Bloodline & CM Punk

Claire Elizabeth: Paul Heyman is the Wise Man for a reason, and his gamble to recruit CM Punk as the fifth man for the Original Bloodline is, for us, the moment the tide turned and Solo Sikoa’s fortunes began to decline. Selection: CM Punk & the Original Bloodline (Jey Uso, Jim Uso, Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn)

Cain A. Knight: Solo’s team won at Crown Jewel earlier this month because Roman’s team always wanted to get the bigger win in the War Games. Selection: OG Bloodline + CM Punk

Marcus Benjamin: This was always about war games. No, this isn’t the last fight between these two teams and there’s a lot of intrigue in everything that’s gotten the OG bloodline to this point, but they get the W here. Which, like most Bloodline matches, me , what interests me most is what happens after the fight. Selection: OG Bloodline & Chick Magnet Punk

M. G0MEZ: While I would have preferred it to be Bloodline or Bloodline, the additions of CM Punk and Bronson Reed make for some unique twists: Will Reed tackle a tsunami from the top of the cage? What favor will Reigns or Heyman owe Punk? WWE seems to have been building towards this moment since April, so I can’t imagine there could be anything less than a win for the OGB. Selection: The OG Bloodline & CM Uso

war games: Rhea Ripley & Bianca Belair & Naomi & Iyo Sky & Bayley vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez & Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae

Geno Mrosko: There’s really no reason to believe that the babyfaces will win here, considering the way the team was put together and the overall picture in each brand area. However, I expect this to be the time when Tiffany Stratton finally pulls the trigger, and we’re going to need a babyface win to help with that. Selection: Rhea Ripley & Bianca Belair & Naomi & Iyo Sky & Bayley

Sean Rueter: With something like this thrown together, there’s no reason to beat the babyfaces. There can certainly be tensions within their ranks. But that’s true on the other side too, and Stratton will certainly provide a distraction with two teammates to benefit from. The good girls will have some suspicious moments, but the Jade Cargill mystery won’t be solved anytime soon. Selection: Rhea Ripley & Bianca Belair & Naomi & Iyo Sky & Bayley

Kyle Decker: I usually like to split the faces and heels when I win these matches, and for the men I let the babyfaces go over. However, I think there is too much to be gained here if the good girls win. Rhea has been on the losing side of her feud with Liv for some time now. Iyo Sky is headed for a title shot. And if the babyface team wins, they can use it to field a challenger for Jax. Selection: Ripley, Belair, Naomi, Sky, Bayley

Claire Elizabeth: Cracks in the babyface team will come to a boil along with Rhea’s injury, leading to the team with two champions winning the day. Selections: Candice LeRae, Judgment Day (Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez), Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton

Cain A. Knight: It only takes one person giving up to lose War Games, and Candice LeRae is the obvious weak link in this fight. Selection: Rhea Ripley & Bianca Belair & Naomi & Iyo Sky & Bayley

Marcus Benjamin: While it’s tempting to pick the heel team, there’s still a little too much drama on their side. Tiffany has that briefcase in her hand and how much longer can she hold out using it against her enemy? Rhea is on the warpath, Bianca is fighting for revenge and IYO wants a championship that currently has Liv Morgan’s name on it. But what about Bayley? We’ll see. Selection: Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, IYO SKY and Bayley

M. G0MEZ: A Waste of WarGames; This should have been a traditional Survivor Series five-on-five elimination match. However, there are plenty of high spots, kendo sticks and other weapons as the good girls march to victory. Selection: Rhea Ripley & Bianca Belair & Naomi & Iyo Sky & Bayley

World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Damian Priest

Geno Mrosko: Priest is fun and he’s done a lot for this program, but there’s not much hope for him in this program. Selection: Günther

Sean Rueter: Thank you to Priest for transforming without having to change his character and for making this show entertaining. But no. Selection: Günther

Kyle Decker: I appreciate the little crisis of faith Guenther had after losing cleanly to Cody Rhodes. (Of course, he also lost cleanly to Sami, but he could always write that off as a fluke.) And it added a small problem to this program. But this is all about GUNTHER getting his groove back and not about Priest winning the title. I wonder if Finn beats Bálor Priest again, but I think he loses cleanly this time. Selection: Günther

Claire Elizabeth: All this thinking about GUNTHER losing his edge is just that – despite his more thoughtful behavior lately, the Ring General is just as deadly and Damian Priest just doesn’t have what it takes to surpass him here. Selection: Günther

Cain A. Knight: GUNTHER gets his mojo back. Selection: Günther

Marcus Benjamin: You know what? I’m going with the guy who’s doing the right thing, at least from a story standpoint should win. Selection: Damian Priest

M. G0MEZ: Without the help of Ludwig Kaiser or Finn Bálor, I can’t imagine how a less confident Günther could win. After listening to Triple H at previous press conferences, I see at least one more title reign in Priest’s future. Selection: Damian Priest

Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Geno Mrosko: I really hope Sheamus wins this title one day. But today is not that day. Selection: Bron Breakker

Sean Rueter: Come on, Haitch. Do it. Make Fella a Grand Slam champion. Plus, it would be fun to see the IC go into a bit of turmoil after a historically long reign. Selection: Sheamus

Kyle Decker: I see no reason for Bad Ass to lose here. Selection: Bron Breakker

Claire Elizabeth: Bron is definitely explosive and undeniable and smart enough to use Kaiser and Sheamus’ mutual obsession to his advantage. Selection: Bron Breakker

Cain A. Knight: Ludwig is here to get his ass beat and take the fall. Selection: Bron Breakker

Marcus Benjamin: Until he’s ready to move on to bigger and better things, this is Bron’s title. And a triple threat doesn’t change that. Selection: Bron Breakker

M. G0MEZ: If there was ever a time to take the IC title from Sheamus, it’s now. I could also imagine Kaiser performing and securing victory. Ultimately, Breakker needs this. He lost his first title fight to Sami Zayn and dropped the belt to Jey Uso shortly after his victory. Losing the title again after he had just regained it would slow his momentum. Selection: Bron Breakker

United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Geno Mrosko: I could actually see them making a move here, considering they seem keen on defeating Nakamura and Knight just doesn’t feel as important as champion anymore. Selection: Shinsuke Nakamura

Sean Rueter: Speaking of hot secondary belts… Knight was more fun when he was chasing him, and an upset win couldn’t hurt as they tried to put Shin’s new gimmick behind them. Selection: Shinsuke Nakamura

Kyle Decker: The lack of promo time for LA Knight was baffling. However, he wins this rushed match and the feud likely continues. Selection: LA Knight

Claire Elizabeth: Knight got shod on the way home, so he’ll be hot and ready to fight hard to defend his title. Selection: LA Knight

Cain A. Knight: Knight wasn’t nearly as entertaining as Champion, so they might as well give the belt to Shinsuke. Selection: Shinsuke Nakamura

Marcus Benjamin: I don’t know how everyone screwed up LA Knight’s reign together. My son was hotter than fish oil in a 100 degree frying pan. Then he won the championship and everything went flatter than a pair of Calvin Klein jeans. That brings us to this game. Is it the story of Shinsuke winning a championship or something that heats up LA? Seems like the latter, but to get hot LA has to lose. Selection: Shinsuke Nakamura

M. G0MEZ: Since Kramer went after Sister Roberta, no one has lost their Kavorka faster than LA Knight. What’s even on this US Belt, garlic and vinegar? Regardless, the US title could use a refresh, and with Nak preparing to return to Pro Wrestling NOAH in January, returning to Japan with a title would help burnish his image. Selection: Shinsuke Nakamura

So we can see how the card works.
